How to prepare Spot Gloss Business Cards??

Spot Gloss Business Cards are one among the range of printed luxury business cards. They are printed on 450gsm silk card with either matt or velvet lamination. Among spot gloss we have two type of business cards i.e standard clear gloss and rainbow spot gloss. They are laminated in order to protect them and add a luxury feel. After that, at specific areas gloss highlights are added on top of laminate. These business cards with spot UV effect or gloss highlights are known as Spot UV Business Cards. It depends upon the light that cause the spot gloss to may appear clear, several shades of color or may have rainbow effect.

Preparing Spot Gloss Business Cards require to select the entire separate layer to resume the artwork. It is 100% black and need to cover the entire area where we want to add spot gloss. Spot gloss file shouldn't include any other  artwork element instead of spot gloss area. The spot gloss file is kept in solid black highlighting the area where the spot gloss highlight is applied. Also, Make sure that your spot gloss file sits perfectly on top of business card graphics when you supply the file. You can also provide your artwork as an Adobe Illustrator file. You can simply select the layer with the spot gloss artwork and export to PDF.
