Letterpress Business Cards are prepared on thick 600gsm cotton stock which is believed to be ideal for debossing because of it's thickness and texture. Inks used on business cards are mixed to match supplied swatches or pantone colours as closely as possible. Then they gently embed the ink into the card stock using a vintage letterpress.  Due to the nature of letterpress there will be a slight difference in the intensity of ink used during printing. Solid areas of colour make it difficult to ensure consistency of colour and in most cases do not provide the desired letterpress impression. The letterpress process is best suited to simple/minimalist design/artwork. The other advantage of simple/minimalist design/artwork is that we can achieve a good debossed effect. How to prepare Spot Gloss Business Cards??

Spot Gloss Business Cards are one among the range of printed luxury business cards. They are printed on 450gsm silk card with either matt or velvet lamination. Among spot gloss we have two type of business cards i.e standard clear gloss and rainbow spot gloss. They are laminated in order to protect them and add a luxury feel. After that, at specific areas gloss highlights are added on top of laminate. These business cards with spot UV effect or gloss highlights are known as Spot UV Business Cards.
